Synopsis
Living in an abusive home in Kansas, Nola is a young woman searching for a better life. She's an inspiring songwriter who leaves her home to find her biological father in New York.

Emmy's Character
Nola is a 19 year old with big dreams for herself. She lives in an abusive home, where she longs to have a better life. She's a singer and an aspiring songwriter, so she leaves her abusive Kansas home to find her biological father in New York City. Once in New York, she meets people who both help her out and frighten her. Nola ends up falling in love with one of the people she meets, Ben, and finds her father.
