Synopsis
When global warming continues to get worse, so does the weather. Tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, snowstorms, and other natural disasters takes place in various countries all over the world. A paleoclimatologist, Professor Jack Hall, is trying to save the world from the effects of global warming. Meanwhile, his son Sam is flying to New York for a scholastic competition with two other students. However, global warming has caused a flood in New York, and Jack embarks on a journey to save his son, only to find that a new Ice Age is beginning to take place. In addition to all of the challenges Dr. Hall faces, he is also going against the flow as humanity races south to warmer climates.

Emmy's Character
Laura Chapman is an intellegant overacheiver in school. She's an active member of her school's scholastics team and cares about others. When she gets on a plane to fly to New York for a scholastic competition, she ends up liking a rich student named J.D. However, her and Sam spend more time together and she ends up falling for him.
